Home › Forum › SOFA › Building SOFA › [SOLVED] error: const type ‘const IdMap’ without a user-provided default constructor
Hi, I’m trying to build sofa. The following dependencies are already installed :
– cmake v3.5.1
– gcc v5.5.0
– g++ v5.5.0
The sofa version is 19.06.02, I am facing this problem during make:
Thanks
Hey @zacharyjay
Sorry your post slipped through our reviews. My apologies.
I am sorry this IdMap error does not ring a bell.. I’ll ask around me.
Are these the only 2 compilation errors you get?
Have you given a try to the latest SOFA release v19.12 ?
Best,
Hugo
Thank you for your reply, I reinstalled sofa 19.06 with a clean Ubuntu 16.04, it worked. It may have some conflicts with my ROS packages. Since some of SOFA packages are not updated to V19.12, I didn’t try it, thanks.
Again, my solution is installing SOFA first on a clean Ubuntu, then restoring my ROS packages.
Best,
Zach
Thanks for sharing your updated solution @zacharyjay !
