Tagged: MOR, runSofa location, SOFA_1912, SOFA_other, sofa-launcher, Windows_10
Hi everyone! I´m using the MOR example, but in the step “reduceMyModel.phase1()” I get the following message: “Unable to find runSofa, please add the runSofa location to your PATH and restart sofa-launcher” I´ve modified and refresh my PYTHONPATH and Path and doesn´t work. I´m on Windows 10, SOFA_v19.06.99. Any suggestion? Thank you!
I do not know the ModelOrderReduction plugin myself, but have you tried to set the path to your build/install of SOFA in the variable SOFA_ROOT
?
If this does not work, we will contact the plugin’s author.

Hi @hugo!
Could you be more specific about the variable SOFA_ROOT? It is a variable inside some .py file or is a folder which I need to create?
Thank you again!

Sorry for the lack of context, I meant an environment variable SOFA_ROOT
on Linux:
export SOFA_ROOT=/path/to/your/SOFA/install/
I hope this is clearer now.

Hello @Hugo!
Thank you! I´ve solved it by adding SOFA_ROOT as a variable into the enviroment variables but in Windows and it´s Path to runSofa.exe
I´m really new into the SOFA World and either on SoftRobots and MOR plugins, so for sure, I´ll be trying to contact you!
I´m marking this topic as solved!
Best regards.
