Tagged: Linux_ubuntu, Other, SOFA_2012
Hello ,
In almost all the geometries I tried for my scenes, I got this error: ‘floating point exception (core dumped)’. I really don’t know how to fix it. Does it come from my meshes ?
Thank you in advance !
Nina
I have compared my scene to a very similar one (only the input geometry . In both cases, the TetrahedronTopologyContainer have succeeded in finding the tetrahedrons. But then the mecanical object, linked to the same container, cannot load the tetrahedrons for the scene that doesn’t work.
Thanks,
Nina
Ola @ninaten !!
StackOverflow tells me : floating Point Exception happens because of an unexpected infinity or NaN. Could you share the scene and mesh with which you are having this error ? It is a runtime error from what I understand from your message. Correct? Which loader are you using?
Best wishes,
Hugo
Hello Hugo,
Thank you for your answer.
Actually I tried to close the subjet but I must have missed something.
In case it helps anyone here was the probleme:
Something in my script was overwriting my points of interest. As a consequence the mecanical object was empty and therefore the following calculs couldn’t work (division by zero caused the floating point exception).
Best wishes,
Nina
