Hi…
By using mouse manager, sofa can incise triangle topology model. But, I want to try it on tetrahedron topology. How to do it?

Maybe you should try SofaCaving plugin.
Also try some examples in sofa\examples\Components\topology , try to use right button of mouse to remove tetrahedron.
I did not find any incision of tetrahedron in SOFA.
Some researchers in SOFA team have done the incision for sure, but I could not find it.

I think one of the researchers of Sofa like Mr. Talbot or Mr. Forest or Mr. Allard answer to this question. Cutting of a 3d mesh is needed in many medical projects and it is obvious that a framework like Sofa should have it.

some research have been done in Lille and Sophia-Antipolis regarding tetrahedra subdivision and cutting. But from what I know, it has been developed and used in a private plugin.
As Weng said, you could use the caving engine if removing tetrahedra is enough. If you need a better and nicer solution to perform nice cut, you should contact one the researcher that Sarrami mentioned.
I’ve seen the Carving plugin scene example given by sofa-framework. It seems I need better and nicer solution to perform the incision.

I am working on the cutting (or tearing) of tetrahedral meshes in the team Mimesis at Strasbourg. Our idea uses a combinatorial map topology (based on the open-source framework CGOGN) to allow for topological changes in real time. We combine a new remeshing method with the snapping of nodes to the cut to incorporate a cut into a finite element mesh. A short overview can be found on our team website in the project virtual cutting simulation. If you would like to have more details you can look into the publication Virtual Cutting of Deformable Objects based on Efficient Topological Operations published this year in The Visual Computer, Springer-Verlag, 2015, 31 (6-8), pp.831-841.
The code remains private for the moment, but we are working on a distributable binary of Sofa, that will allow you to use our method. If there are news on this topic, we will keep you updated.
