Home › Forum › SOFA › Building SOFA › [SOLVED] Does runSofa use Qt ?
hi,
I have some questions.
Q1. Modeler is using Qt but runSofa is not using Qt?
When I ran Cmake, modeler has a message that “Modeler : Using Qt”.
But runSofa has not a message. It has a message that “Adding Application runSofa”
Is it sure this situation?
Q2. If it is correct Q1,
When I run Modeler, it is running normally. Because I made a folder “plugins” into the bin folder and Copy paste C:\Qt\5.5.1\5.5\msvc2013_64\plugins\platforms folder into the plugins folder.
But when I run runSofa, it is not running. I don’t know how to solve.
Help me to resolve this issue.
Thank you.
Hi min,
First, please edit your post and change the title for something more relevant.
Q1. runSofa IS using Qt for GUI and visualization. A non-GUI runSofa which does not need Qt can be built if CMake does not find Qt on your computer (explicit messages would appear) or if you choose it by disabling SOFAGUI_QT and SOFAGUI_QTVIEWER in CMake.
Q2. Please provide some error message for your runSofa execution problem.
Cheers,
Guillaume.
Hi min,
Any news with your problem?
Otherwise, I will tag this topic as solved for your “Sofa using Qt” question (Q1).
Cheers,
Guillaume.
