    Hi,

    I’m finding some trouble trying to build sofa with the CGAL and Image plugin. The SOFA version is 16.08, from the git repo. CGAL is build from sources, but the same the same errors appeared from the ubuntu 14.04 repo.

    The whole error is too big to be reproduced here, but to summarize it: 

    /usr/local/include/CGAL/Mesh_criteria_3.h:143:7: note:   candidate expects 1 argument, 6 provided
make[2]: *** [applications/plugins/CGALPlugin/CMakeFiles/CGALPlugin.dir/MeshGenerationFromPolyhedron.cpp.o] Error 1
make[1]: *** [applications/plugins/CGALPlugin/CMakeFiles/CGALPlugin.dir/all] Error 2

    and much more like that.

    Looks like CGAL has changed its API and the CGAL plugin is not up to date?

    Hi Juan Jo,

    It’s highly possible.
    We did not use the CGAL plugin for some time!!
    That would be an amazing contribution if could have a look at it.
    Could you make it?

    Alright,

    The plugin was working with previous versions of CGAL, so I guess there shouldn’t be too much work. If you’re stuck, let us know on this thread, we’ll try to progress together.

    It seems that with Sofa 16.08 and cgal from the Ubuntu 16.04 repo, the cgal plugin is working so there’s no need to fix anything.

    Yes, just tried the CGAL examples and it’s working, so I’m marking it as resolved.
