This week, the SOFA community will be strongly represented for the international conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems(IROS) 2016!
Congratulations to both Defrost and Mimesis teams! Very nice job! The conference will be held in Daejeon, Korea from the 9th to the 14th October. Meet the SOFA guys and carry on making great science with SOFA.
The four accepted papers are entitled:
- N. Haouchine – Using Contours as Boundary Conditions for Elastic Registration during Minimally Invasive Hepatic Surgery
- Z. Zhang – Kinematic Modeling and Observer Based Control of Soft Robot using Real-Time Finite Element Method
- F. Largillière – Stiffness rendering on soft tangible devices controlled through inverse FEM simulation (patent pending)
- Y. Adagolodjo – Inverse real-time Finite Element simulation for robotic control of flexible needle insertion in deformable tissues
