A new journal paper has recently been accepted at IEEE Transaction on Biomedical Engineering. This paper results from the great work of the Asclepios team (Inria, Sophia-Antipolis) and focuses on Non-Invasive Personalisation of a Cardiac Electrophysiology Model from Body Surface Potential Mapping, written by Sophie Giffard-Roisin, Maxime Sermesant et al.
The use of simulation in the field of cardiology is illustrated here with the simulation of a patient-specific electrophysiology. Based on on body surface potential mapping, the main parameters of a cardiac electrophysiological (EP) model are personalized for predicting the response to different pacing conditions.
Congrats Asclepios!
