Right after the recent membership of the Fraunhofer IPA, the SOFA Consortium is proud to announce that the Asan Medical Center also decided to become a SOFA Technical Member.

Asan Medical Center is Korea’s largest and most preferred hospital by patients, with a gross floor area of 524,700m² (2,705 beds) serving 12,279 outpatients and 2,576 inpatients on average per day. In addition to all 44 clinical departments, the Asan Medical Center also encompasses a research institute actively pushing the use of physics simulation in healthcare.

As a Technical Member, the Asan Medical Center will help us coordinating the developments, defining and contributing to the technical roadmap.
