Project Description
Under the LGPL open-source license, this plugin implements the Multiplicative Jacobian Energy Decomposition (MJED), a discretization method which is an alternative to the classical Galerkin Finite Element Method formulation.
This method for discretizing non-linear hyperelastic materials on linear tetrahedral meshes leads to faster stiffness matrix assembly for a large variety of isotropic and anisotropic materials. Used within an implicit integration scheme, this decomposition method leads to fast and realistic deformations including hyperelasticity, porosity and viscosity.
