[SOLVED] Blood flow through heart

Good morning everyone,
I’m trying to model and simulate the blood flow in the heart. I would like to know if this is possible with sofa by writing an Xml file? If so, how do we proceed? Is it possible to use a method such as immersed boundaries?

Thank you for your question.
SOFA is mainly a framework for solid mechanics. Few codes are actually computing fluid dynamics.
You can find two classes available for this:

• examples/Components/behavior/Fluid3D.scn : implementing on an Eulerian grid the work from Dr. Carlson (see thesis here)
• examples/Components/forcefield/SPHFluidForceField.scn: implementing the Navier Stokes equation using SPH
