Hello!
I remember reading about a work-in-progress installer based on CMake’s CPack for SOFA in a message on the mailing list.
Since I’ve created a basic version for that including installation of header files, dependent libraries on Windows (e. g. Boost) and some patches for the FileRepository class to support searching for files in the install destination directory (again under Windows), I wanted to ask if there is interest in this, and/or if it might be (still) useful to provide you with a (set of) patches.
Thank you!
With best regards,
Fabian Aichele
Hi Fabian,
Very good news ! We are still working on it in the dev community.
This is of interest, but we’re almost there (for Windows, Mac and Linux). However, the set of patches would be very interesting. We can discuss it during your visit next week in Strasbourg !
Cheers from Stras,
Hugo
