Tagged: 64_bits, SOFA, SOFA_1806, Windows_10
Hi @Hugo and Sofa users,
I am trying to attach an actuator to a body using attach constraint. I set 4 pairs of vertex in the attach constraint, and gave the body a relatively large stiffness. However, the attaching points fell apart from the body as if the body was too soft.
Could you help figure it out?
My code can be found here https://www.dropbox.com/sh/1strpel1kv7oi4o/AAB2EjZDvW3Z2CSSABEz80bza?dl=0.
Thanks.
HI @zliu157
Two things came to my mind:
– first what are your units, what is the dimension of your mesh?
– regarding the Attach constraint, you should activate the option twoWay : if you want to the attach constraint to propagate forces on both objects.
Best
