I have compiled sofa successfully with flexible and image plugins, but I could not find a way to use it!
There is no MuscleMaterialForceField or TendonMaterialForceField components which mentioned in this link:
Also, the scenes in the flexible plugin example are inanimate.
I also clicked on the “flexible_test.exe” and some errors appeared.
I will appreciate if any one can help me to use flexible plugin.
Best,
Zahra
Hi Zahra,
I don’t know the Flexible plugin so this answer may not help you much.
I was able to find MuscleMaterialForceField and TendonMaterialForceField components in applications/plugins/Flexible/material. You should have them too.
About the examples, did you check in applications/plugins/Flexible/examples/demo ? It seems to contain basic and advanced scenes using the plugin.
Cheers,
Guillaume.
Hi Zahra,
How is it going with the Flexible plugin?
Cheers,
Hugo
Hi Hugo,
I would like to find out more about this Flexible plugin. Is there a publication that describes the MuscleMaterialForceField and TendonMaterialForceField classes?
I don’t know if there is a point to contacting Anatoscope. When I asked about source code in the past (Anatomy Transfer), the discussion went nowhere.
I’m keen to use these in an upcoming proposal.
Best wishes,
Michel
Hey @michelodu
I invite you to take a look to the Caribou plugin providing a novel yet modular implementation of the FEM, flexible-like. Let us know how this suits you. This plugin should very soon be available within SOFA.
Best wishes,
Hugo
