Tagged: 64_bits, SOFA_1612, Windows_10
Hello,
I need to apply a force each time on a different node of a mesh and save the resulted deformed mesh. As there are a lot of nodes in my mesh, I want to use something like a “for loop” to define this node. I am not professional in C++ coding, so I have to use MATLAB instead. I am wondering if I can link MATLAB and SOFA for this purpose so that I can use SOFA scene like a function in MATLAB.
Thank you for the help in advance.
Best wishes,
Zahra
Hey Zahra,
Why not using Python for this?
Making loop on indices while the simulation is running is possible.
About MATLAB a topic was already posted there: https://www.sofa-framework.org/community/forum/topic/launching-sofa-from-matlab-script/
Hope this helps.
Best,
