Home › Forum › SOFA › Building SOFA › [SOLVED] Installing v17.12 from DMG package on Mac OS
Hi there,
I just wanted to report that I noticed a weird behaviour when trying to install latest SOFA versions (both v17.12.01 and v17.12.00) on Mac OS from the DMG package.
First, every time I turn on my laptop, the SOFA licence agreement appears and if I press “Agree”, the computer freezes and I have to restart it. Second, I cannot execute runSofa by double clicking on the runSofa instance, but only via terminal.
I had no such problems with version v17.06.
Thank you!
Eleonora
Hi Eleonora,
I don’t have this freeze issue on my Mac but the double clicking problem is known (and not fixed yet unfortunately).
Did you investigate more on both issues? Any clue would help me to fix them.
Thank you,
Guillaume.
hey @eleonora !
Do you still have the issue?
Could you have some clue for us to help you?
Thanks for reporting! that’s great!
Best,
Hugo
Hi guys,
I’ve just tried to install v17.12 again, and I do not have the freezing issue anymore (whereas the double clicking is still not fixed, but it’s a minor thing).
Thank you!
Eleonora
Cool thanks for the feedback Eleonora!
Cheers,
Hugo
