Is there a way to create an object in sofa with directionally asymmetric friction where that is built into the friction model?
For clarity, I want to model a system where the anisotropic friction comes from something at a much smaller length scale than the rest of what I am modelling.
The friction built by default in SOFA is indeed isotropic.
I could ask to the teams working on such collision/friction topics, how could an anisotropic friction be implemented.
Sounds like a very interesting development.
