Hi all,
I am the beginner for Sofa. I am working the research that includes needle insertion. I want to simulate the deformation of tissue when needle inserts. A 2D example case can be found here: https://youtu.be/HS-jxW_43jc?t=18
Is it possible to simulate similar scenario in Sofa. The features for the simulation are:
1) The collision between needle and tissue is turned off.
2) Frictional forces will be created when needle and tissue are intersected
3) Only the points that are intersected will have frictional forces.
