Dear SOFA community,

Join us in Paris downtown from the 18th to the 22nd November for the SOFA Week 2019.

The week opens with a training session providing the mathematical, physical and computer science backgrounds in order to start in the best conditions with SOFA.

The week continues with the SOFA Symposium proposing academic and industrial presentations, as well as booths for live demonstrations.

An open-source award program is organized to reward the best SOFA contributions. Feel free to participate!

The week ends with the SOFA Technical Committee (STC), defining the technical roadmap. This committee is open to all, feel free to stay with us!

As you understand, the SOFA Week is the best place to meet the community and create new collaborations. Several prestigious partners already registered, among them: Dassault System, InfinyTech3D, Anatoscope, Philomec, University of Luxembourg and Inria.

Hello Hugo,

I highly support the idea of the SofaAward. So anyone using Sofa don’t hesitate to submit your work to the award. It can be big plugins, tools, framework or something more “simple” like the best sofa simulation you made with all the data/mesh/texture to run it.
