Tagged: 64_bits, CGAL, Linux_ubuntu, Mesh, Plugin_other, SOFA_1812
I am trying to create a discrete version of a mesh inspired by this example
https://softroboticstoolkit.com/sofa/tutorial/step-1
However, I got this following error, and I dont know how to interpret, I am newbie at meshing
CGAL::Polyhedron_incremental_builder_3<HDS>::
lookup_halfedge(): input error: facet 264 shares a halfedge from vertex 0 to vertex 1 with facet 0.
I dont know what I should do in that case, any hints would be appreciated.
Here I am sharing the steps I did
1- I have created the STL model in blender( this is a single Woven T-yarn of Fabric), as illustrated in the following attachment: https://gofile.io/?c=KKaqnp
2-Later, I have used GMSH to create a volume mesh, I added a physical volume, and 3D mesh and I have also refined the mesh by splitting as shown in the following attachment:
https://gofile.io/?c=VAPwtE
3- For STLIB, is that external plugin, or a plugin to be added in sofa/src/applications/plugins ? I would be grateful for more hints about installation.
Thanks for the help,
Hi @ma1991
What do you call a “discrete version of a mesh”?
@damien-marchaluniv-lille1-fr do you see what could be the problem?
Best
Hugo
Thanks Hugo, I am referring to the discrete version of volume where I can add constraint to the mesh,
Here is the STL file:

Thanks,
