11 November 2021 at 07:41 in reply to: [SOLVED] Help! Model order reduction – ‘can’t find anything to animate’ #20777Agustin SantanaBlocked
Hi @Hugo, sorry about the last question!
My main issue is to know if somebody has solved this topic by using Python3 and Qt5, and not necessary using Python2 and Qt4 as @Owen did…
Thanks again!
Agustin SantanaBlockedHi again @Hugo!
I´m using SOFA_v19.06.99 on Windows 10. So I´ll be checking out how does CMake works in order to go on and coming back!
Kind regards!

Has anybody find a solution for this issue using Python3 and Qt5? =(
I´m not really an expert on Python, but which could be the easiest way to go back to Python 2 and Qt4?
Thanks in advance!
Agustin SantanaBlockedHi everyone!
Can anybody help me for installing the SofaPardisoSolver plugin on Windows 10?
I´ve downloaded a file from Pardiso with some dll’s and a .lib, and then I´ve renamed a new file as “SofaPardisoSolver” and copy it (with dll’s and .lib) at the plugins file, where MOR, SoftRobots are allocated. It did´nt work!
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Agustin SantanaBlockedGreat @Hugo! With this explanation, everything is pretty clearer! I´m marking the topic as solved.
Thanks for all your support!
Agustin SantanaBlockedThanks for your answer @Hugo. By the moment, I´m not sure about the value of dt, I mean, how can I modify that timestep? Does this dt, refers directly to the DT value of the mainscreen, beside the buttons of “Animate”, “Reset Scene” and “Reset View”.
In the other hand, pressure I guess is “pressureValue” for the fingerController.py right?
Finally, and after undestanding this details, the units of pressure will also depend on the units I use for my scene? I mean if I use MPa, GPa, pressure for fingerController.py is going to be in those terms or is exclusively related to pressure / dt ?
Thanks in advance @Hugo!
7 October 2021 at 02:34 in reply to: [SOLVED] Problems in MOR – runSofa location and sofa-launcher. #20529Agustin SantanaBlockedHello @Hugo!
Thank you! I´ve solved it by adding SOFA_ROOT as a variable into the enviroment variables but in Windows and it´s Path to runSofa.exe
I´m really new into the SOFA World and either on SoftRobots and MOR plugins, so for sure, I´ll be trying to contact you!
I´m marking this topic as solved!
Best regards.
Agustin SantanaBlockedHello @DiegoMtz!
Thank you! I´ve solved it as you suggested by adding SOFA_ROOT as a variable into the enviroment variables of Windows and it´s Path to runSofa.exe
I´m getting in touch with you soon!

Could you be more specific about the variable SOFA_ROOT? It is a variable inside some .py file or is a folder which I need to create?
Thank you again!
Agustín S.
Agustin SantanaBlockedHelp! Same problem but in Windows. I´ve modified and refresh my PYTHONPATH and Path and doesn´t work. “Unable to find runSofa, please add the runSofa location to your PATH and restart sofa-launcher” Any suggestion? Thanks…
